Reaper reaper
take your seed,
the grass if overgrown.
The house has long since fallen,
there is a dead ox behind the plow.
The sky is filled
with drought and storm
the wolves all howl and bay,
to see this red and bloody 'morn
break slowly into day.


The author's comments:
The tiltle of this poem might be a little confusing. It comes from the saying, "Red sky at morning, shepherds warning. Red sky at night, shepherds delight."
