one second, one sight
to see everything I like,
everything I adore in you

one question,one bite
of a piece of our past alike
reveals to me all that's true

but...
all above in your eyes
I'm so hung and tied
to your heart, it's true
but I'm too young, too dumb to realize
that over time we grew
older, closer, bolder
so why do I let go
every time I get to hold her

one moment, one second
after the fact I see in your eyes
but yet too young, too dumb, too late to realize

Have you ever realized you liked someone but was to late to act on it. I have. It actually happens to me a lot. I wrote this after it happened once.
