And Then And So
The sunshine washes my face, takes away my pain
The sun beaming
And then my mouth lifts on both sides
And then I bent over to pick up a dandelion
And then I brought it up to my face
And then I blew all the little soft things off
Not before I closed my eyes and made a wish though
The field around me renews my sense of peace
And so I spun in circles
And so my pretty flowing yellow dress went in circles
And then the wind blew everywhere
And so my hair blew blissfully with the wind
And so I was excited and happy
But it all happened before I started to feel the pelts
They were quiet but I still felt them
I felt the way the whispered silently on my soft bare arms
And so I laid my head on the ground
And so when the storm came
I let it blow me away
Not before my life flashed before my eyes though.
