Free Fall

The moon ignites the sky, mesmerizing my eyes,

The wind wafts wistfully, fraught with lovely lips that speak only lies,

Vicious in the vine of doubt, my heart is now clutched by the hands of my fears,

Walk I as the skies cry, upon the trail of my veiled tears,

Walk I upon the path that I chose, the path that I carved,

The soul is no longer brave, it is one that has lost itself, beaten and starved,

Inebriated is the soul, in the gleam of the infinite horizon, promising is it's allure,

Arises the sun with the flicker of the flame, blinding me with its lascivious lure,

Rip these tapestries of destiny, erase these somber stains,

A prick of passion and a taste of tantalizing ecstasy and a slit of poisoned veins,

Blind these eyes, they are shrouded in this azure amorous hue,

For when I let my heart guide my mind, my hands only find you,

Delirious is this life of eternal love, endless is this agony, but haunting is its call,

No longer sane is this cause, let's close our eyes and fall.
