Judging
Judging
We do it everyday.
We think: He's too nerdy.
She's too fat.
He's stupid.
He's a druggy.
She's gay.
She's a freak.
She's a loner.
He's an alcoholic.
She's so conceited.
But in reality
The "nerdy" boy is pressured
daily by his dad to get
straight A's and achieve
a dream he doesn't want.
The "fat" girl is bulimic
she finds comfort in the food
she gorges in.
The "stupid" has ADHD
and has difficulty
learning new things.
The "druggie" is hurt and betrayed and finds temporary comfort in pills and powders.
The "gay girl" did nothing wrong
but feel an attraction to the same sex. She feels so ashamed of herself.
The "freak" succumbs to the call of the razor to bury the real pain that lingers inside her.
The "loner" is different and no one understands her. She wont change for anyone.
The "alcoholic" has his own problems and hides the pain behind a rush of vodka.
The "conceited" girl puts people down when in reality she feels worthless.
You cant judge before you know the person.
Can't hate before you talk to them.
