Together We Fall

June 6, 2013

As we sit here,
Waiting for someone to hear.
We tried to show them signs,
but they can’t read between the lines.
You write on your hands,
but no one understands.
Ohh, what a shame.
Look what we became.
Your writing suicide songs.
Were stuck doing all the wrongs.
Were fighting our own conscious.
You notice, It’s never honest.
So we run from your worries like we do best.
Jump on a greyhound and forget the rest.
All we can ever hope for now is...
That we won't be found.

I wrote this a year old, when me and my best friend were in a dark place. Luckily we made it out, and I'm sure you will too.
