Summertime is almost here
best part of the school year
Just need to finish up our tests
Then we can meet some really nice guests
Making plans to go on vacation
Without and thoughts or hesitation
Sleeping in all morning
waking up early is mighty boring
Calling up friends to go to the pool
Gosh we think summer is cool
Going back to school is the worst thought
until we realise that the summer is hot
When school starts we think of summer
and how this year will be such a bummer
