You are a freak
That I try to understand
But just as I’m approaching a resolution
You throw out something
Completely unexpected
And unpredictable
You’re like five people smushed together
But then again
Unlike any of them at all
Which is confusing
And kind of annoying
One of you is always busy
With important trips
Assignments
And functions
At moments you’ll begin to seem normal
But then one of you will announce
That you’re waking up at 5:30 the morning after a party
To go swimming
Then another one of you
Will plop an oversized backpack
And take out three binders
Crammed with AP Chemistry notes
