Listen, Watch, Learn
The dewdrops roll down the blades of grass; slowly. Gently.
The wind bows through the aspen leaves; quietly. Peacefully.
My mother sings me a lonely lullaby; trustingly. Lovingly.
And all along I listen; carefully. Contently.
And while I listen I watch; avidly. Alertly.
And while I listen and watch I feel; painfully. Frustratingly.
But While I feel, I learn; amazingly, incredibly.
While I learn I fade away; slowly. Softly.
And In a moment I am gone; swept away. Saved for another day.
