Broken
I've been shattered so many times
that no matter how hard I try, I know
 I'll never be whole again.
It's useless trying to piece me back together,
 I'm no humpty dumpty.
I'm a jigsaw puzzle with too many parts missing
to form any semblance of a whole.
I'm broken and can never be fixed.
I'm just a handful of forgotten fragments,
the pieces of the puzzle you throw away
because you just can't find the other half.
 I'm nothing now.
 But then again,
when was I ever anything more
 than nothing?
