In my opinion,
Love has to rhyme.
It has to sound like the chorus of parakeets,
It has to make you sit down and grip your seat,
It has to hold you down and light your fire,
It has to breath and sing and make you tired,
It has to make you jump up to dance and skip,
Ithas to make your words prance right off your lips,
It really does have to be your dream come true,
It has to always be changing and new,
It has to buckle you down and take you for a ride,
It has to make me stop when you say you're mine.

From what I see,
Love doesn't always rhyme,
It stutters and stops and freaks out and runs away,
It cringes and screams when you ask it to stay,
It may hold you down by the ruff of your neck,
It may break down and cry when splitting the check,
It may sing to you all those words of hate,
It may leave y ou in a deteriorating state,
It may never find you or be lost for good,
It may not be your dream like it should,
It may not betherode you wanted to ride,
It may not be the person you want by your side

But love is love,
It's not a perfect shape.
Love is love,
Carry around the duck tape.
It's a two sided path on a one way street
That starts the moment you and your love both meet.
