A tear streams from his
Eye
He knows his mistake
He wasted it on a fake
A date
A chance;
He holds the pain in his
Heart
Lets it all out at the start
She doesn’t know what to say
But
Perhaps someone will
One that cares
Maybe
Maybe one day,
One day, She will say
Respond with the same
He won’t have to bear the shame
He won’t be so lame
