Liar, Lying, and Lied
Cross your fingers.
See that?
That was our friendship.
Now take your left and right pinky,
And put them as far apart as you can.
That's what I feel like we are now.
We're so close only because we know,
Well... Knew everything about each other.
Inside we drifted apart.
Outside nothing changed.
It takes one lie to become a liar.
It takes a liar to ruin something good.
But this wasn't just something good.
This was rare.
No one could separate us,
So what could one lie possibly do?
The liar began lying.
Again. And again.
And pretty soon had their own web of lies.
Slowly... We began to pull apart.
Like every lie cut another seam,
And every thread gets shorter.
And becomes weaker.
The trust completely gone from my heart.
But you think I still believe.
But those lies have past now,
And you have made more new ones.
U admit you lied,
Yet, you lie again by saying
"I'm done lying. I am no longer a liar."
Because soon enough,
My trust has come back,
Only to be deceived once again
By the same liar I first met,
Instead of being trusted
By the person I became close with
In the beginning.
