The young boy trudged across the mossy cobblestone path,
peering into the lake that reflected memorable moments of his first love.

Memories flashed through his soul like fireworks,
but when he turned to the sound of her voice,
she was gone.

The wind suddenly whispered through the hills,
“love is patient, love is kind.”
