My Paws
Without you I’d be lost
I’d awake every morning with an emptiness inside me
It would feel like an icy cold frost
You are my world, don’t you see?
From your jumping around with glee at the door
You fit in my heart like a warm fuzzy glove
And I love the way you roll around on the floor
Your darling face and furry paws are what made this thing called love
And I love the way you curl up when your cold
Your giant eyes make my heart melt
I’ll love you no matter how old
Your fur is like a velvety soft felt
No matter how many tries
You can do no wrong in my eyes.
