Yesterday
used to haunt me
memories
and hurts
and what-ifs
would creep into
my mind and
keep me up for hours
I thought I'd lost
so much
but then
one of those Yesterdays
turned into a Tomorrow
and it looked a little brighter
it didn't hurt so much
to smile
and before I knew it
the Tomorrows kept coming
and I woke up
I woke up from my fake
reality
It had seemed so real
in my head
but when I really
opened my eyes
I realized
I'd painted such a
good picture
that I'd forgotten
to put down the brush
