The greatest lesson in life
The greatest lesson in life
 Is about time
And how it should never be wasted
 Or used up doing things
That you don’t find worth your while
 For one day
 You may wake up
And find that your time’s up
And you haven’t lived a life you are proud of
 For everyone’s time is limited
To a certain unknown expiration date
And to truly make full use of our limited time
We must enjoy things that we love
 Be it a person
 A place
 A job
 Or even a favorite chair
We mustn’t live our lives waiting for them to start
We must live in the present
Appreciating it for the gift it is
 Never taking advantage
 Never wasting it
Never doing things you will regret
Or not be proud of later
Never wasting the preciously little time we have
This is the lesson I hope to learn
So I can live the life I mean to
Surrounding myself with the things I love
 With no regrets
