I wake to a light shining on my face
Hoping it's the sun leaking through the curtains of lace.

I'm looking forward to a day full of fun,
Of the warm sweet kisses of the sun,
Of a day in the beauty of its cozy glow,
And the sizzling cool wind to blow.
Hoping it's the sun's shine,
I'll know it's a day that will be mine.
To the welcoming of the beach
With is soft sand at my reach,
To the musical call of the waves,
These are the days i will save.
The sun allows me to do what ever with my day
Never wanting it to slip away.
But i know some days it will,
To my mother saying no or me becoming ill.
I just know I'll never let it be
I'll be having to much fun with my friends with a little fee.
I'm counting down the hours
Till there are no more April or May showers.
Summer is my time to be in the sun.
