Perish Away

That word
That foul word, that repulsive word
That word makes me want to vomit
The word that should never played with

The word that savages hearts,
The word that changes those
The word that kills souls
The word that devours minds
Everything!

That word ruins everything!
A soul, a mind, a face, a heart!
Everything!

Her naive heart was too blind,
To face reality
She was scared of letting go
Of what she wanted

All she ever wanted,
Was to be loved.
She wanted love,
And only love

She knew that it was
Something she could never have
She felt nothing but
Pain, solitude, devastation

She only felt that,
That was all she ever felt
She had no one to look for
She only had one person to look to

She only had herself.

She felt slapped,
She felt slapped back into
A place known as,
Reality.

She realized that
Dreams are meant for sleeping
That dreams are simply wishes
People chase after,

Chase after knowing, it will
Never come true
No matter how much
Someone desires it.

Love, a game,
A cruel, deceiving game
That should never be played with
A game she never should have played with
A game I should have never played with

Why bother with love
When it’s meant to kill,
Not enhance?

Why do foolish people
Fall for that game?
When they know
It’s a scam?
Love is not a game,
No! It’s not a game!
It’s a scheme, it’s a monster, it’s a threat!
Love is something no one should
Play with

It’s something that should be
Locked away,
Never, ever, ever to be seen again!
Love should be sentenced to eternal hell!

Love does nothing but only leave
Those in ruins!
It kills! It bites! It hurts!
It’s painful! It’s really painful!

Love, love, love
That vile word,
That pain-staking word
A word my heart shall never play with

A word banned from
My heart
Never again will it
Feel love

Love,
A satin, a demon, a beast
Love will forever,
Leave my heart,
Love

Love will perish away
Love was something,
My heart should have never
Fell for

Love is something,
To never play with.
