Lucid Dreaming
I know that I am dreaming, I know it’s not daybreak.
I know that I am sleeping, but yet I am awake.
This world it is my stage and I’m the director, I’m an actor;
my imagination is my play with musical accompaniment of my laughter.
I swordfight with the silver knights, I sail the seven seas,
I dance through seven symphonies; I fly atop the midnight breeze.
I cry, I sing “I’m free, I’m free!” this is my world, this is me.
Here free thought is everything, because that’s what I want and that’s how it should be.
Soon, I know, I will awake from my head and into the world which I can so dread.
Where they tell me I’m foolish, they say creativity’s a waste of time!
Yet I will simply smile for I have to wait only but a while, until once again my adventures begin.
When I will drift under the comfort of the stars & be LUCID.
