A flightless bird
It remembers the days
Of the wind between its feathers
Those days are no more
With a hindered wing
And a twisted foot
It doesn’t live
It survives
With its useless body
It carries on with hope
It remembers the days
Of the wind between its feathers
Will it fly again?
