His Great Illusion
My dream is this flower
She has wealth and power
I treasure her being and existence so
There’s this green light that represents her glow
Maybe it is through my eyes only
But it is better than being old and lonely
I stalk her by day, I stalk her by night
She is my go, my traffic light
Everyday I am more rich
She will want me and we’ll be hitched
Hard work and dedication
All I need now is a gas station
She fills my engine with affection
I only find more rejection
I still treasure her being and existence so
The green light still represents her glow
The light now is fading
My everlasting dream is degrading
I am American, I have a dream
Please tell me this is not my theme
I wasn’t trying to live in the past
I got caught in my dream it was too vast
Was it all a great illusion
I am at my end, in great seclusion.
