Fake Smiles
Lies hide.
Their hidden by people
Who are scared of themselves.
People who can't face the truth,
Or are so petrified
They tell themselves what they want to believe
Instead of what's true.
They cower at their mistakes,
And blame others
For what they deserve punishment for.
They think they live such a pure life,
Even though they know what their hiding.
They have fake faces
That hide what they really are beneath.
But the fake faces won't always work.
One day,
They will diminish into nothing,
And they will be faced
With the monster they really are,
The monster that has grown stronger
With every mistake,
Broken promise,
And lie they have said.
They will break under the weight,
The weight of the guilt,
And the betrayal.
They will be alone
To face it by themselves,
Because through all those lies,
Broken promises and mistakes...
They have lost everyone.
They have lost respect
From everyone who cared about them.
So what's hidden behind those fake smiles...
Is the exact something they deserve
For all the evil they have caused for theirselves
And pain they have brought upon others.
