Words that bare lies so mammoth it could destroy one girl’s past, present, and destiny.

Sentences that could demolish one girl’s common knowledge of everything.
Shatter her puzzled up thoughts all over the tear-stained floor,
And make her hands and knees bleed while attempting to put them back in order.

Paragraphs that pick off all the fruitful petals of the girl’s heart.
One by one, knocking down the only thing keeping her awake.

The letters written to her vulnerable mind,
Erasing the hope that one day she would finally have,
And wrecking all of what could’ve been.

Remembering the sayings he screamed to the girl flash in her distorted mind over and over again.
Crashing upon the numb soul like the ocean waves in a windy storm

The looks in his sinister eyes send waves of electricity through her bruised bones, aching with every bolt.

There she lies, curled up in the corner near her shattered dreams and hopes spilled all over the cold ground.
Her red-streaked eyes have witnessed love being struck down by a gun when she finally believes she has won its trust.
She stares at the stripes of blood on her wrists and thighs,
And ponders the idea of existence

This poem demonstrates how one persons actions towards another can affect them. I wrote this poem with anger and the passion to show the other person how i can turn my feelings into art.
