Walk, walk, walk
I go
not a face I know.
Turn, turn, turn
strangers all around.
So many people,
but I am alone.
Lonely, lonely, lonely
me standing in the street.
Not a friend in sight
on this lengthy path called life.
Run, run, run.
Search, search, search.
Plea, plea, plea.
Somebody see me!
Curl, curl, curl
into a ball.
Shiver, shiver, shiver...
I fall.
No one to pick me up.
No one to cheer me on.
Just lying on the earth
Frightened..
Frightened...
So very....
very.....
Frightened.

This was an assignment my teacher asked my class to write about our fears. I decided to write about my fear of being alone.
