between you
and her
is that you are rude
and she is kind
and you are wrong
and she is right
and you are plain
and she is gorgeous
and you are ice
and she is warmth
and she is sweet
and she is wise
and she is everything
and you are not.
So remind me
why society
would rather me
love you.

Inspired loosely on my experiences as a bisexual teen in a world where if I were given the choice between a male idiot and a female wonder, the whole town I live in would be screaming for the idiot.

Id be one of those people. Except I wouldn't tell you that, it's just my worldview. Nonetheless, I like this poem and I respect your feelings and I also like the rhythm of this poem. 5 stars!
