IF I can stop one heart from breaking,

I shall not live in vain;

If I can ease one life the aching,

Or cool one pain,

Or help one fainting robin

Unto his nest again,

I shall not live in vain. - Emily Dickinson

The year is coming to the end

I am sad for it to end

But I scared for it to begin

As I take my things from class

I makes me sad that the year

Is soon to pass

I have learned so much

That a simple card could hold all my ‘thank you’s’

I don’t know a year could change me so much

But it has

As I walk through the hall

Before Summer

I remember

Sitting, laughing, and day dreaming about the future

The friends I have met this year will always have a special place in my heart

They are the ones that make me brake out of my shell

To listen to my crazy weekend on Tuesday

So thank you for singing Disney sings in class with me

You know who you are if you ever read this

I remember wanting to grow up

But now I want to stay the same age

I think Peter Pan was right

About never growing up

So dear time

Please don’t pass

To fast

So I can stay forever young

Is poem shows the end to a school year. The love/hate feeling about walking down the halls before summer. In this poem you get see my thoughts on leaving for the summer; about the friends I have met.
