A moment of movement
A moment of stillness
No breath taken
Not enough taken

The world moves too fast
No clear picture in sight
Only rushing colors
Fading in front of your eye

Trying to keep control
Over your body and the board
Trying to foresee the landing
How to move right

The Sun is blinding
And the time of silence is over
You connect again with earth
And start thinking again

The author's comments:
I got inspired by an image of an skate-boarder's shadow thrown at a half-pipe. I tried to catch the thoughts and impressions of that person while he or she is in the air, even though I've never been on a skateboard.
