I am a star,
Moving about the endless cosmos.
Isolated, far from others.
I keep the few
who I hold true
in my gentle orbit.
I am distanced from strangers,
still communicating with my light.
Lonely it may seem,
take a step back and see,
that I am in galaxy
surrounded by others,
others like me.
