Flying
I always wondered what it felt like to fly
To feel the wind rushing in my face
To be lifted up and away
To be soaring in the clouds like the birds I envied
But one day, I learned how to fly
On the top of mountains I flew
Soaring down the white ground
Banking and gliding like an eagle in the air
Feeling the air rush in my ears
But I was not
Not in the sky but close
Not by wings but by skis
Still, I was forever free in the sky
