Head & Body
I like to think I’m in control.
I like to think I know what I’m doing.
I like to be in my head.
My head doesn’t know where I’m going.
Or what comes next.
My head doesn’t know the way.
Something else does,
My head and my body are separate.
My body pulls me forward,
has its own mind.
That mind knows where we’re going.
My body knows what we’re doing.
My body tells me what comes next.
