On an inner tube, speeding along the water that gleams
I can't hear the boat's motor, it is drowned out by our screams
From the boat, Dave stares at us and waves
The entire time we are smacked around by unrelenting waves

Driving the boat is Fran, who is determined to throw us off
With all the humps and bumps we go over, thank god the inner tube is soft
The whole tube goes underwater after we make an extremely hard right
We almost drowned, and I think I saw the light!

With one quick turn, the tube is whipped with us almost crying
One quick turn was all it took to send us all flying
As I am pulled back up onto the tube, Dave says
How's it going?
This is terrible!
I am sunburned and we have been out here since ten
Are you ready to go in?
