Perhaps the sea is just a pool,
For god's sorry, sorry tears.
Perhaps people, are not people
But mistakes with common faults.
Perhaps excellence is a sin;
Once all is conquered what is left?
Perhaps death is a white lie
And we are transported to a different world.
Perhaps I am not alone,
But a member of thee alone.
Perhaps I am not a failure,
Simply incapable of sin.
Perhaps I'm not depressed,
But unforgivingly realistic.
Perhaps they call me crazy,
To hide their own insanity.
Perhaps my voice is naturally quiet;
For its impossible to hear me.
Perhaps I'm the one who's normal,
Simply surrounded by outcasts.
Perhaps, then, outcast means outgoing,
To be friends with other outcasts.
