Different Places

Sitting looking at the snow
Sitting at the beach
Feel the wind against my face
Feeling the sand between my toes
One sheet to sleep for the whole family
Ten sheets that I don’t need
Very cold

very warm

Staying at home can’t go to school
Riding a limo to school, passing people on the street
Wake up in the morning going to work
Waking up going to hang with friends
Very poor

very rich

Not many clothes I have
Hundreds of clothes
I’m lucky to have a meal tonight
Tired of having lobster every night
Empty

full

My parents don’t give me money
But they give me love
My parents give me money
But never love
Loved

Not loved

I walked passed a beautiful house on my way to work
I drove passed a dirty small house
Cold I was when wishing to live in this house
Driving passed I saw a cold but heartfelt family
I wish I was there
I wish I was there

People see me as the bad person
People think I am perfect
Dirty, not well dressed
Clean, well dressed, rich
From the outside
From the outside

I am not perfect
I make mistakes
But who is perfect?
Who doesn’t make mistakes?
Not me

Not me

Without love it is not worth living
Money is not everything
But happiness is But happiness is
