Identity
They’re the one in the back of the room
Who only speak when called on
The one that took longer to bloom
Such as the ugly duckling to a swan
They don’t know what to do
What to say or how to act
They’re unsure of who to talk to
While running from the abstract
No one knows what they’re capable of
Because of their sealed reputation
No one knows of their secret love
Because of their lack of communication
They have trouble finding who they are
In a place where people beg for attention
They find labels to be bizarre
Especially those failed to mention
Their true identity is waiting to appear
And it’s conflicting and confusing
Hoping to be open and clear
With a personality that’s amusing
