Vengeance.
The word as dark as it’s meaning.

Payback.
Not the same as a return on an investment, more like a ponzi scheme, rotating in a vicious cycle.

Do two wrongs make a right?
Or does the second wrong just waste time?

You have heard that it was said, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth,
But I tell you, if that were the case, we would all be blind and wearing dentures.

What’s revenge worth when you get shot, and you aren’t alive to shoot back?
One small altercation.
Escalates.
Until justice lies in the hands of the cops, but you’ve already met your fate.

You see a puddle in the sidewalk
It’s in your way, so do you walk through it? Show that puddle who’s boss!
But the puddle doesn’t care.
It’s a puddle.
Did you expect it to be scared?

No.
You circle around
And your brand new Sperries stay safe and sound!
But what if it’s a big puddle?
You walk in a bigger circle.
Duh.

Maybe you’re feeling on a high
So you walk through the puddle
What a tough guy.
You get mad, so you stomp in the water
And now you’re all wet, and you feel your face getting hotter.
Two choices: Stomp again, or go home.
Lose-lose situation…
They weren’t cheap either!
…MOM!
Stupid puddle…

If anything, you know what two wrongs make?
…They make two wrongs.
And probably another after that, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and you get the idea…

Really, you know what one wrong—one problem—should make?
One solution.
Maybe go around, or don’t wear one-hundred dollar shoes.

Whatever.
