Favorite Quote:
what?

Yellow streak across the gloomy ash

Through golden spectacles piercing eyes flash

Night broken with a sickening crash

Scarlet now the color of the night.

Lovers and sinners stricken and smote

Before the all-seeing eyes that smile and gloat

So we beat on, against the current and borne, boats.

To find a time before the gold and death

A freshly picked Daisy who took our breath

Away from the city

Away from the city

Houses filled with unused rooms,

Closets filled with unused brooms,

Bedrooms with unslept beds,

Library with books unread,

Buy yourself happiness anew

Swap from Gold to blue

And not the yellow flu.

But the money does not, presently make it easy

Happiness; a wind in this world so breezy.

Find what you want and take it.

Don’t wait or break it.

If it’s what you want, make it.

The green light has been swept away,

Into the long distant day.

Time didn’t stop.

It's about "The Great Gatsby." I just sort of wrote it. I revised it once and I'm pleased with how it turned out.
