My Hamlet
Walking, he laughs,
Forgetting about the world’s problems.
His laugh; soft, but loud.
His voice; smooth but vibrant.
He turns to me and I dare look.
His eyes; bold, bright, and blue.
His smile; comforting, and full of energy,
He doesn't know, and he doesn't need to.
I take a deep look in his eyes,
My heart skips three beats for every one.
I feel my head get dizzy,
My mind blank with thought.
Our eyes are locked for seconds,
It feels like minutes.
I look away, ashamed.
He loves another.
He;
The stunning Hamlet.
I;
The foolish Ophelia.
