What’s the meaning of life I don’t get it
Building relationships with great people
Who can be yanked from your life without notice
A hawk swooping in to carry off it’s prey
Death comes knocking taking your soul leaving an empty shell

Life holds no guarantees
What’s the point, I just don’t understand
Watching people we love
Being reduced to a daily struggle to survive
With quality of life slipping away

Spending time worrying about stupid things
School, work, giving up time with loved ones
When none of it really matters in the end
Why even try?
When in the end we just die.
