There she stood,
looking over the hill,
searching for me.
I promised to meet her,
therefore I’m here,
but I can’t help thinking,
what would my family think?
My father would surely disapprove,
but why? She is beautiful.
So, now I will catch her as she runs into my arms,
and hope for the best.
After all, she is my Juliet, and I, her Romeo.

Romeo has kept his promise,
meeting me here in the meadow.
It was a risk for him and me.
He stretches out his arms,
waiting for me to run to him.
Can I risk it all for him?
He loves me,right?
Will he be able to risk it all for me?
I run to him,
knowing he will be there to catch me.
For now, he is my Romeo, and I, his Juliet.
The rest of the world can wait for now.

So many men,
I feel as if they are lined up,
to dance with her and win over her heart.
Can I add myself to that list?
Because Elizabeth captivates me.
Her smile, the way she laughs, the twinkle in her eye,
all make my heart flutter,
and make me see her inner and outer beauty more everyday.
Has she fallen in love with me,
as I have with her?
For now,
I will be Mr. Darcy,
the grouch everyone thinks.
One day though,
I will share my feelings,
for they can’t stay hidden forever.

Oh, why is he such a grouch, that Mr. Darcy?
Hasn’t anyone ever taught him to smile?
If he did, he would give me a reason why I’m falling.
Falling in Love.
There are many handsome men.
But none stand out like he does.
His silence pierces the room,
and demands attention.
The small smile he let’s know one see when he finds something amusing.
Oh dear, he is looking over here!
My cheeks have suddenly flustered.
He slowly leans out from the pillar,
and walks toward me.
“Care to dance?”
I put my hand in his outstretched hand,
and hope for the best.
One day, I know,
he will say, “I love you Elizabeth Bennet and have a feeling you love me back.”
Oh, I’m still waiting, Mr. Darcy.
Waiting for you.

She is beautiful.
Drawing her like this,
I understand her beauty.
Not only is it inner, but outer also.
She smiles when she sees me staring.
And why not? She is beautiful.
“All done.”
I remark quickly,
motioning towards the sketch.
She peers over to stare at the drawing.
What will she say?
“It’s beautiful.”
She says breathlessly.
“Not as beautiful as you.”
I hope Rose knows,
that I,
Jack Dawson,
will never forget her.

Why do I have to marry that man when I can marry someone 10 times greater?
His loyalty, the look in his eyes all make him so desirable.
I wish we could stay like this forever.
Oh my, he’s leaner closer.
Why should I do? Should I accept his kiss?
Or diss him?
Kissing him sounds more entertaining.
And as I lose myself in his soft lips,
I just want to be with him.
Forever.
