His eyes are heavy,
Her knees are weak.
A rush of fear
Slowly brushes over them.
They hold their feelings in captivity;
Passion about to burst.
Dumfounded, lost.
Where is there to go?
They can’t hold back any longer.
This bundle of emotions
Must erupt.
An uneasy feeling coats her stomach.
He stands anxiously before her.
The words spill out.
She stands speechless
A bright, radiant smile
“I love you”, he cries.
Upon her face.
Tears of joy slowly follow.
In that moment,
Pure bliss.
