Running
As fast as I run I know
That I am doomed to be nothing more than a future show
The souls of my boots were torn
To reveal new skins, as it had just been born
The bones in my arm started to quake
And fear took control of my hands and made them start to shake
 This creature feeds off hate
And I was the best bait
 This creature feeds off greed
And I was greed’s best steed
 This thing feeds off fear
And that has owned me since I ever heard it in my ear
As fast as I run I knew I could
Not face the being of which I should
Then my foot hit a root
And lost control of my boot
Then I saw shards of glass
And I knew my bare foot would not last
My fate was sealed once I started to fall
As my screams started to call
I knew my doom once my knee
Hit the hard glass beneath me
The creature steps slowed to eat its prey
 When my bloody body ley
Carried an ax that made my heart filled with fear
While he proceeded to chop off my ear
Then it pinned me against a tree
Only to realize the killer was me
