I Used to be an Adventurer

I used to be an adventurer,
Until I took an arrow to the knee
But when I tell you this story,
You just laugh with glee.
I used to be a hunter
Strong, stealthy, and brave,
Until I met a brown bear
That mauled me in its cave.
I used to be an assassin
Of the Dark Brotherhood,
Until I mocked their cause,
And was fed with their food.
I used to be a story teller,
Just as good as he or she
But then I told this story,
Now everyone laughs at me.
