When I was little

When I was little you'd tuck me into bed,
Made sure I wasn't sick, or red,
You read me books,
And then you taught me how to cook.
You'd tell me to stay away from boys,
And made sure that I always share my toys.
You wiped my tears away,
When I was sick,
And couldn't go out to play.
You taught me a life lesson,
"Never say mean things unless you're messin' "
You showed me what it's like to love,
But now all I need is a giant bear hug.
This world Is beautiful for some,
But for others,
Its just the saddest
Tell me what's to keep going for,
When I'm trapped Behind this rusty door.
