Your name is written on my heart
Your name is written on my heart,
Your face plastered in my mind,
It hurts not knowing you
As much as I want to.
I miss you like
The clouds miss the
Bright blue sky, When the skies turn grey.
It's as though you've forgotten who I am,
Sisters aren't just relatives,
They are best friends,
Like the flowers need
To be pollinated,
I need you.
You're Someone I can spill my heart out to.
You're not supposed to
Not have your sister,
I keep myself occupied
With things to do,
So that I can quit thinking about you
Cause' it hurts not having you,
But every time I stop,
I still think about you,
Your eyes like the big blue sea,
Your warmth like the sun,
You keep me contained,
Now that we're miles apart,
Promise me you won't forget,
Don't forget my love for you,
The bond we share.
The times I changed your diaper,
Or when I would brush your hair,
Don't forget how beautiful,
You are to me.
You're like the sun,
So bright,
So warm,
But not touched,
And sometimes,
Not seen.
Your silly little secrets,
Fill me with happiness
That I can't quite explain.
With all these words unspoken,
Distance comes between us.
Promise me you won't lose hope,
Miracles exist,
Somewhere out there,
They exist.
What I really want to say,
Is I love you like the world loves laughter,
I need you like the earth needs rain,
I miss you like I miss the old
Happy little me.
She doesn't exist anymore.
Shes long gone.
