The Two Sides of Me

Part of me is citrus green-
Energized and alert,
Mind filled with ideas
Like the new spring grass,
Bright-eyed and lively,
Yet calm and collective
But another part of me is cloudy blue-
Unmotivated with empty thoughts,
Slow moving and cheerless
Like a murky rain cloud on a dreary morning-
Waiting for the next sun to rise,
But most days I feel more green than blue
