Alcohol Is Destroying

I can see the anger in his eyes
And the alcohol rushing through his veins...
I can see the pump of his heart
It is filled with pain...
I can see his body shivering
And his mind going insane...
I can see the sweat on his face
It is falling like rain...
I can see he is lost
And forever that will remain...
but daddy I still love you!!!

My poem is about my dad, I love him so much,but he is an alcoholic..He just dosent understand that it hurts me.We don't get along sometimes because I'm starting to stick up for myself and tell him how I really feel... I cry alot, and blame myself.He forgets alot,and I tell him because he is drunk... I just want to fix him and make him the dad he really is deep down...but I don't knowhow to do that!! well that's why I wrote this poem, I just need to let it all out!!!
