The thickest of days
Shave off grayest hairs
Obscure what’s within
With chameleon skin

The coldest of moons
Lay quiet in time
Revolve and revolve
In darkness, unsolved

The hottest of suns
Burn up all that’s green
Such arrogant light
Shrouds up sacred night

The thinnest of walls
Keep secrets of man
As scars left inside
Catch kids in the rye
