All we want is the violence to stop

Let our schools live in peace

Let all the anger cease



All we want is the hatred to stop

Let good deeds prevail

So that we may come together and be as one on top




All we want is for the violence to stop

No more bloody video games

Or the vulgar movies

So we can save the life of a cop




If everyone did a good deed

It would plant a seed

That would help set a human being free

That’s all we want indeed
