Just because i smile doesn't mean i'm happy, because it takes one smile to hide a million tears.

There used to be a girl, who was extremely big,
Every day she’d hear a little dig.
About her looks, her weight,
Never love, only hate.
They would tease her, hit her, and hunt her,
They'd push her as they watched her image blur.
They got high off a girl, who was losing it,
Just because her jeans didn't fit.
Why is it that you believe you are right?
When it’s her who sat up every night.
Working out if it was OK to kill herself,
Or making herself sick, despite her health.
It was her, who thought things through,
So why, why do you think it was up to you.
To pick whether or not she was allowed to be joyful,
When it’s you who manages to break each and every rule.
From the book of humanity,
No not the bible, the book that keeps our sanity.
You couldn't even be human to this girl,
Can’t you see everyone has a right to belong in this world?
She was dying slowly and with pain,
Just because you b****es are so vain.
You forced her to change herself to fit in,
Into a style that started from sin.
She wanted to be accepted, in fact it was a need,
But her needs are pushed away by your greed.
Your greed to have all this new stuff,
The day has come, you have enough.
So stop stealing from her the only thing you don’t own,
A thing that isn't given, but is grown.
So stop fighting to get it because you will never win,
You will never take the beauty that she found from within.
She is an amazing girl, who I love with all my heart,
She was brilliant, kind and smart.
She made be smile, she made me laugh,
Her death was a result of choosing the wrong path.
She killed herself, because of one word,
That was repeated, and deeply injured her.
But don’t blame the word; it was the girls, who used it,
And I hope one day the fall flat in the grit.
I hope they die fast or slow,
Because even though I shall grow.
I will have to grow without my best friend,
A friend that was supposed to stay till the end.
Her end came before expected,
Which damaged everyone who was affected.
I will cry each night without her hand to hold,
I will honor her and her image will be a mold.
Of a girl I wish to be,
Because one day she will look down and see.
That she is loved and she is simply beauty,
Next time I hope you will do your duty.
Of being a pleasant human being to everyone,
No matter what they look like, or what they have done.
Because no matter whom they are they deserve to smile,
Each day, of each hour, of every mile.

The author's comments:
I did not write this about a friend, i wrote this about myself. I believe that i have lost a part of myself, a whole person. And i am trying to find her again. I hope you realize how much words hurt and what it can drive people to do.
